Bagaha : A case was lodged with  Chautarawa police station on May 6, 2019, against BSP nominee from Valmikinagar parliamentary constituency (PC) in West Champaran district Dipak Yadav for alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) under Bagaha assembly segment of the parliamentary constituency.

SHO, Chautarawa police station, Vinay Mishra said that during a vehicle checking drive launched by flying squad headed by an Assistant Engineer Nandkishor Singh on May 5, 2019, night, on NH727 near Chautarawa, Rs 2 lakh cash kept in five envelopes in a car allegedly belonging to BSP nominee Dipak Yadav was seized. The car was also seized, the SHO said on May 6.  Dipak Yadav is Managing Director of  Tirupati Sugars ltd, Bagaha. Valmikinagar PC will go to polls on May 12, 2019.
