Canada beat Greece 3-0 in ATP Cup, Shapovalov stuns Stefanos Tsitsipas

Patna : Canada defeated Greece 3-0 in the 24-team inaugural ATP Cup on January 3, 2020, at Brisbane, Australia. World No 15 Denis Shapovalov, 20, Canada, edged past World No 6 Stefanos Tsitsipas, 21, Greece, 7-6, 7-6 in the second singles while World No 21 Felix Auger-Aliasimme, 19, Canada, beat World No 487 Michail Pervolarakis, 23, Greece, 6-1, 6-3 in the first singles. Shapovalov now leads Tsitsipas, who had recently won the ATP Finals Championships,, 3-1 Head to Head. 

The tournament is being played on hard courts at three Australian Cities : Brisbane, Perth, and Sydney., from January 3 to January 12, 2020.

In the doubles, Shapovalov and Aliasimme beat Pervolarakis & Petris Tsitsipas, younger brother of Stefanos Tsitsipas,6-2, 6-3 in 68 minutes.
