Bagaha: A camp was organised at Bagaha on June 15, 2018, for registration of countryboats for ferrying in flood affected area during rainy season. Arun Kumar, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI), Bettiah, said that the registration of countryboats is manditory.
MVI Kumar said that after recommendation of the Circle Officers concerned, over one hundred applications have been received so far for registration of countryboats under Bagaha Sub-Division. Every boatman has to provide his Identity card before issuance of boat registration number after thorough verification of boat’s capacity, MVI Kumar said.
