Buxar: Buxar SP Upendra Kumar Sharma suspended seven police personnel including an ASI on Saturday for favouring of some gamblers. Buxar police led by Town police station ASI Dharmendra had conducted raid at a gambling centre near Jahaz Ghat in Buxar on May 24, 2016, and arrested two persons from the spot but later the police released them allegedly for monetary consideration. When the SP came to know about it, he inquired into the matter and found the police personnel guilty of favouring miscreants.
