Buxar : Police, on a tip off, arrested two members of Sandeep Yadav gang from Chausa Bazaar in Buxar District in South Bihar on August 20, 2021, and sent them to jail after interrogation. Police arrested them when they were hatching plan to commit crime somewhere. Sandeep Yadav is languishing in Azamgarh jail in UP.

Buxar SP Neeraj  Kumar Singh said that he got information on August 19, 2021, evening, that some members of Sandeep Yadav gang were hatching plan at Chausa Bazaar in Buxar district to commit crime somewhere. THe SP immediately sent a police team under SDPO Gorakh Ram to arrest them. The police team conducted raid and arrested Ram Babu Singh of Chausa Bazaar and Shamshad Khan of Khalasi Mohalla. Police also recovered a country made pistol and four live cartridges from their possession. The arrested miscreants admitted their association with Sandeep Yadav.

The SP further said that during interrogation, the arrested miscreants disclosed that Sandeep Yadav had demanded rangdari from a cloth merchant from behind the jail and they had come to collect the money from the cloth merchant. Both the miscreants were planning open  fire at the gate of the house of the cloth merchant when police arrested them. The cloth merchant lodged an FIR in connection with demand of rangdari from him.
