Buxar court slaps fine on SI for non-compliance of its order

Buxar: District and Sessions Judge, Buxar, Pradeep Kumar Mallik on Monday ordered a police sub-inspector (SI) to appear before the court on July 2, 2016 and also slapped a fine of Rs 1,000 for not submitting a case diary before the court on time. The court also ordered him to submit injuries report on the day. About a dozen persons were injured in a group clash at Purana Bhojpur at Dumraon in Buxar district on June 9, 2016, and a case was filed in this regard. The court had sought case diary but the investigating officer of the case did not submit the case diary on time. During hearing of anticipatory bail petition of persons involved in clash, the court took non-compliance of its order by an officer of SI rank very seriously and said that due to indifferent attitude of the law enforcing agency, a number of cases are pending .
