Patna : Fifth seed Busanan Ongbamrungphan, 25, Thailand, beat World No 26 Yeo Jia Min, 22, Singapore, in straight games in final on November 7, 2021, to lift the women’s single title at Hylo Open 2021, an HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 badminton tournament, in Germany.
Busanan beat Yeo 21-10, 21-14 in final at Saarlandhalle, Saarbrucken, Saarbrucken, Germany, in 35 minutes. World No 14 Busanan won 42 points during the match to 24 points by Yeo. Busanan also won 9 consecutive points during the match to 4 by Yeo.
