Bokaro (Jharkhand) : Six students of DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand, brought laurels to their school by securing top Ranks in the recently conducted International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO)- 2020-21. Aarifah Fatma and Shray Kashyap of Class III; and Aryendra Tripathi and Aaradhya Singh of Class IV, bagged International Rank 1 while Ariba Uzma of Class IV and Krrish Chanchal of Class X got International Rank 3.
The IGKO (International General Knowledge Olympiad) conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) endeavours to develop interest in General Knowledge and current affairs. The SOF IGKO is conducted for the students of classes 1 to 10. Participants are ranked on the basis of the marks obtained in the test.
Principal, DPS Boakro, A S Gangwar, congratulated the winners and wished them success for the future. He said that proper guidance of the teachers, hard work and sincerity of the students always pay dividends. ” Winning reflects that you are willing to go longer, work harder, and give more than anyone else to set a new benchmark,” remarked Gangwar.
