Motihari : Afroz Alam, 16, was beaten to death by some persons and the body was recovered on Thursday near his home at village Manasi-Chhapra under Chakiya police station in East Champaran district. The
body was brought over to Motihari Sadar hospital for postmortem by police. DSP,Chakiya, said that a case has been lodged in this regard with Chakiya police station and police were investigating the case. According to police sources, Afroj was allegedly in love with a girl of the same village and the parents of the girl were opposing the same. The mother of the deceased has alleged in the FIR that the father of the girl has killed her son.
