Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : GGPS school student Udit Kumar, 17, son of Rajesh Kumar, an officer at Bokaro Steel plant, committed suicide by hanging himself with a pipe at his quarter in Bokaro Steel City where he was living with his parents.
The body of the boy was found on August 6, 2017, in the wee hours by his father who went to wake up his studious younger son who had fetched 10 CGPA in class 10th in 2016 as the teenager was aiming to crack IITJEE and for which he studied 6 hours everyday. However, no suicide note was found in his room.
According to Rajesh Kumar, his son was spotted studying in his room till 2 am on August 6 after having his dinner at about 11 pm on August 5. But, when he went to wake up his son at about 6.30 am on August 6, he found his son hanging with a pipe outside his room. He was immediately rushed to Bokaro General hospital where the attending doctors declared Udit brought dead.
The body was sent for post- mortem while police has started investigation in his unnatural death.
Bokaro City DSP Ajay Kumar said that police were investigating into the reason behind the death of Udit, who was excellent in studies.
