Patna : The BJP-Shiv Sena (SS) alliance is set to retain power in Maharashtra but in Haryana the BJP is struggling to retain power as per the trends available.

The BJP and SS  have won 5 and 3 seats respectively while the alliance is leading in another 153 seats in Maharashtra. The BJP is leading on 97 seats while SS is leading on 56 seats. Congress has won 2 seats and leading on another 42 seats while its ally NCP has won 1 seats and leading on another 54.

In Haryana, the BJP has won 1 seats and is leading on 37 seats in Haryana while Congress is leading on 34 seats. Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) has won 4 seats and is leading on another 6 in its maiden entry into Haryana Assembly polls. Independents have won 1 seats and leading on another five seats. The Indian National Lok Dal is leading on one seats. The Haryana Assembly poll results are clearly a major setback to the BJP. The Exit POlls had predicted Huge win for the NDA in both Maharashtra and Haryana.
