Patna : The BJP has scored a point over the RJD, the with biggest constituent the Mahagathbandhan ( Grand Alliance)  government headed by JD(U) national president Nitish Kumar, as the RJD chief Lalu Prasad on April 9, 2017, admitted that the two acre land at Saguna Mor near Danapur, Patna, on which Bihar’s biggest Mall is being constructed belongs to his family.

Lalu admitted that the plot is owned Lara Projects Private Limited in which his wife and former CM Rabri Devi and their sons : Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav, are the only shareholders. The Mall is being constructed by Meridian Construction India Limited owned by RJD MLA from Sursand in Sitamarhi district Syed Abu Dozana.

Tejaswi is Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar while Tej Pratap is a Cabinet minister. But, they have not disclosed they are shareholders in Lara Projects Pvt Limited to either the state government or the Election Commission (EC). Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has demanded of CM Nitish Kumar to sack Tejaswi and Tej Pratap for not disclosing their shares in Lara Projects Pvt Limited either to the government EC.

Nitish should take action and prove he is against those holding benami property, Modi said. Obviously, this would put Nitish in a fix. Nitish has so far maintained a stoic silence over the issue. Lalu on April 9 alleged that the BJP was trying to defame prominent opposition leaders across the country.
