Dhanbad (Jharkhand) : One of the prime accused in Niraj Murder case and BJP MLA Sanjiv Singh was called at Saraidhela Police station of Dhanbad on March 27, 2017, for interrogation. He was quizzed for two hours. Niraj along with three others was shot dead by some criminals on March 21 night.
Coal Belt DIG Saket Singh on March 27 told this reporter that BJP MLA Sanjiv Singh was summoned at Saraidhela police station where he was questioned by three IPS officers on allegations made against him in former Dhanbad Deputy Mayor Niraj Singh murder case. He was asked questions on his alleged role in the murder, where was he at time of attack, reasons of hìs enmity with Niraj and whether he was in contact with goons whose phone numbers are with police. Police also asked him did he make calls to 7 persons after the murder. Sanjiv repeatedly said that he was not feeling well.
