BJP leader shot at and injured in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi: Former Bulakipur Panchayat Mukhia and block level BJP leader Pawan Kumar Sah sustained bullet injuries when motorbike borne four miscreants fired on him from point blank range on late December 26 evening near Imli Bazar area under Riga police station in Sitamarhi district.

Pawan Kumar was returning to his native village Bulakipur on a self driven bike. The armed miscreants overtook
his bike and fired on him and sped away. He instantly fell on the ground. After five minutes a bike borne unknown villager coming from opposite direction reached the site and took him to Riga police station from where he was swiftly admitted in to a private nursing home at Sitamarhi. The doctors successfully operated him and he is convalescing there.
As per the family members, bullets were fired on him by goons two years back as well but luckily the bullet could damage his helmet only. None has been arrested in this connection so far.
