BJP leader murder case accused gives slip to Bhojpur police

Ara : Brajesh Mishra, who carries a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head and is one of the main accused in the murder of the BJP state vice president Bisheshwar Ojha, once again gave a slip to Bhojpur police and escaped on April 15, 2018, evening .

Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar said that he got information that Brajesh Mishra had come to his village Sonbarsha under Karnamepur police outpost. He immediately sent police force under ASP, Jagdishpur, Majeet Kumar, who conducted raids at his house but Brajesh Mishra succeeded in giving a slip to police once again. Police launched a search operation at village about five hour and recovered a pistol and five live cartridges of 12 caliber.

The SP said that the BJP state vice-president Bisheshwar Ojha of village Ojhwalia was gunned down at village Sonbarsha under Karnamepur police outpost on February 12, 2016, when he was going to attend a marriage ceremony. A named FIR was lodged with  Karnamepur police outpost against eight persons including Brajesh Mishra and his brother Haresh Mishra, sons of Shiv Ji Mishra. The State government had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 each on the heads of both the brothers.

Patna police had arrested Haresh Mishra from Howrah in West Bengal on December 25, 2016, and at present he is in Ara jail but his brother Brajesh Mishra is at large for the last two years. Shiv Ji Mishra and his another son Krishna Mishra are also in the jail.
