Nawada : Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and senior BJP leader Giriraj Singh on December 30, 217, said,  “All constitutional and parliamentary options would be taken into consideration to see that the Bill on Triple Talaq does not hit a roadblock in the Rajya Sabha (RS).”

Speaking to this reporter, Giriraj Singh, also BJP MP from Nawada, did not rule out a joint parliamentary session to pass the Bill  if the Congress opposed the passage of the Bill in
the Rajya Sabha. The Union Minister, who reached village Mangura to attend Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s programme, informed that the BJP and its allies were determined to end the nefarious practice of “Triple Talaq”. The Congress party, he hoped, would ensure the smooth passage of the Bill in the Upper House too as it did in the Lok Sabha.

On his ‘unexpected’ arrival at Mangura in Nawada district to meet CM Nitish Kumar, with whom he shares a love-hate relationship, Giriraj said minister that although nothing is permanent in politics, he would never give up his Hindutwa views and policy in his life.
