Madhubani: Responding to felicitations at a civic reception chaired by Ghanshyam Thakur, district president of BJP, on Wednesday, the newly elected MLC and chief spokesperson of state BJP, Vinod Narain Jha, came down heavily on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for neglecting the well-being of the state in the pursuit of his prime ministerial dream.
Making a trenchant attack on the Grand Alliance government of RJD, JD(U) and Congress, headed by Nitish Kumar, for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, reminding people of pre-2005 situation, Jha alleged that the monster of organised crime has once again reared its head and the police appears to be helpless.
Citing a number of examples, Jha said that emboldened criminals are choosing their time and place to surrender even as the police are seen to be groping in the dark. If his national dream is so dear to him, Nitish can very well hand over the reins of the state to some one else, he advised the chief minister.
Thanking the party leadership for giving him a chance to serve the people of the state in general and of Mithilanchal in particular, he claimed that the very selection of party nominees for Council seats by various parties speaks of their priorities. While BJP gave two representations to Mithilanchal, underlining its concern for the region, of the five seats shared by RJD, JD(U) and Cong, three went to muslims. What else is vote bank politics? he asked.
Prominent among those who felicitated Jha on this occasion included Suman Mahaseth,BJP MLC,  Sarb Narain Mishra, Umesh Mishra, Prof. C S. Jha ‘Azad’, Bharat Bhysan Yadav and Bhogendra Thakur. Vinod Narain
Jha was also felicitated by party workers at Benipatti on June 14.
