Bagaha : Four criminals riding two bikes looted about Rs 9 lakh cash from an employee of Bharat Finance Company Munna Sharma in Dumawalia locality under Pathakauli Police Outpost in Bagaha Police District on August 30, 2019, afternoon. The place of occurrence is just half a kilometre away from the residence of Bagaha SP.
Sources said that as soon as the employee of Bharat Finance Company came out from his office in Dumawalia locality carrying cash bag, four bike borne criminals, who were waiting there, forcibly snatched the bag from him at gun point and escaped towards Bagaha-1 Block brandishing their arms.
Soon after the incident, Bagaha SP Rajiv Ranjan, ASP (Operations) Dharmendra Kumar Jha, SDPO, Bagaha, Sanjiv Kumar, and other officials reached the spot and police swung into action. It is the second incidents of cash loot within a week as Rs 80,000 had been looted from another employee of the same finance company at Bardaha under Bagaha town police station.
The miscreants also recently looted Rs 45,000 cash from dicky of a motorcycle of Vishwanath Yadav of village Sonbarsha, who had parked his bike near the gate of Bagaha 2 Anchal and gone inside the office for some revenue related work. A motorcycle was also stolen by a group of miscreants on August 30, 2019, from the campus of Shidhav Anchal office.
ASP (Operations) Dharmendra Kumar Jha said police were checking the footage of CCTV installed at Pandey Motors and Indian Oil Petrol Pump.
