Patna : Around eight bike borne criminals with their faces covered looted Rs 69 lakh cash from Jinoria branch of Indian Bank under Daudnagar Branch in Aurangabad District in broad daylight at gun point on July 30, 2020.
The criminals, who reached the reached the bank premises half-an-hour after the bank opened, attacked the security guard with a knife injuring him seriously. They also damaged his rifle and then entered the bank, assaulted the Manager, captured the key, and looted cash from currency chest. Aurangabad SP Pankaj Kumar and SDPO Rajkumar Tiwary and inquired into the incident. Police are, however, yet to arrest any criminal in this connection.
