Bike borne criminals loot jewellery, cash from Buxar jeweller

Buxar : Two motorcycle borne armed criminals intercepted Babloo Verma, son of Shiv Ji Verma, a jeweller of New Bhojpur under Dumraon police station in Buxar district, on December 21, 2017, on Dumraon- Bikramganj main road when he was going to Chaugai to open his shop and snatched jewellery worth Rs 56,000 and Rs 28,000 cash at pistol point from him and escaped.

Later, an FIR was lodged with Dumraon police station against three persons including Kathua Yadav on the statement of Babloo Verma but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. SDPO Kamalapati Singh said that Babloo Verma and Kathua Yadav has a long standing enmity and both were involved in scuffle more than once. He said that the incident of loot  might be an outcome of that enmity.
