Bike borne criminals fire at cloth store at Patna

Patna : Three bike borne criminals fired at a cloth store “Nanad Bhaujai” located on Bailey Road under Danapur police station, Patna, on July 1, 2018, afternoon, to terrorise the shop owner Sonu into paying ‘Rangdari’ (extortion amount) to them.

The criminals had demanded extortion amount from the shop owner on June 22. Sonu had lodged a complaint with police on June 26, 2018, alleging some criminals had demanded rangdaari from him. Sonu, in his complaint, had said that a criminal had come to his shop and asked him to speak to the gang leader from his mobile phone.

SHO, Danapur police station, said said that 3 criminals reached the shop and one of them fired at the shop to terrorise the shopkeeper and then escaped towards Haathi Khana. Police are searching for them. He said that a Rifle Guard has been deployed for the protection of the shopkeeper.
