Patna : Active cases count increased to 114 in Bihar including 20 in Patna on August 27, 2021, as 21 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August 26, up from 15 cases the day before. The Active caseload was 106 in the state on August 26.
Bihar recorded 2 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours, 1 each in Samastipur and Supaul, taking the toll to 9,652 in the state on August 27, 2021. With it, the toll climbed to 155 in Samastipur and 129 in Supaul.
The state has logged 7,25,672 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,905 patients have been declared cured including 11 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining static at 98.63%. Bihar has tested 4,12,36,728 samples so far including 1,70,198 samples on August 26, 2021.
The 21 new cases included 3 in Nawada, 3 in Darbhanga, 2 in Saharsa, 2 in Patna, 2 in Samastipur, 2 in Bhojpur, and 1 each in Bhagalpur, Begusarai, Madhepura, Rohtas, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, and Vaishali.
