Patna : Active cases count dropped 782. in Bihar on February 18, 2022, as only 91 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on February 17, 2022. Active cases count was 876 in the state on February 17. The state reported 2 new deaths in last 24 hours taking the toll to 12,255 on February 18, 2022.
The 91 new Covid-19 cases included 25 in Patna, 11 in West Champaran,7 in Supaul, 5 in Samastipur, 5 in Gopalganj, 4 in Muzaffarpur, 3 in Aurangabad, 3 in Kaimur, 3 in East Champaran, and 3 in Vaishali, according to State Health Department figure. The state tested 1,23,686 samples on February 17, 2022.
Bihar has logged 8,29,548 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic of which 8,16,510 patients have recovered including 183 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate improving to 98.43% on February 18 from 98.42 % on February 17, 2022.
