Patna : Active cases count further dropped to 28 in Bihar including 11 in Patna on October 5, 2021, as only 2 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on October 4, 2021. The active cases count was 30 in Bihar on October 4 as only 3 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 on October 3, 2021. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained satic at 9,661 on October 5, 2021.
The state has recorded 7,25,973 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,283 patients have recovered including 4 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate remaining pegged at 98.66 % on October 5, 2021. Bihar has tested 4,67,89,083 samples so far including 1,12,352 samples on October 4, 2021. The 2 new Covid-19 cases included 1 in Khagaria and 1 person from other state.
