Patna : Active cases count dropped to 41 in Bihar including 20 in Patna on October 19 as 5 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on October 18, up from 2 cases on October 17, 2021. Active case count in Bihar was 43 on October 18, 2021. The state did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in lst 24 hours and the toll remained pegged at 9,661 on October 19.
Bihar has recorded 7,26,033 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,330 patients have recovered including 7 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate standing at 98.66 % on October 19, 2021. The state has tested 4,84,41,141 samples so far including 1,25,827 samples on October 18, 2021. The 5 new Covid-19 cases included 3 in Patna and 1 each in Begusarai and Darbhanga, according to State Health Department figure.
