Patna : The Active cases count dropped to 84 in Bihar including 56 in Patna on December 20, 2021, down from 85 a day before, as only 5 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on December 19, 2021. Six persons had tested positive for Covid-19 on December 18. Bihar, however, did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 12,093 on December 20.
The state has logged 7,26,376 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,14,198 patients have recovered including 6 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.32% on December 20, 2021. Bihar has tested 59172210 samples so far including 1,05,915 samples on December 19, 2021. The 5 new Covid-19 cases included 3 in Patna and 2 in Siwan, according to State Health Department figure.
