Patna : The Active cases count dropped to 3,237 in Bihar in last 24 hours from 3,390 cases on February 2, 2022, as only 496 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on February 3, 2022. A total of 655 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on February 2, 2022.
Bihar reported 4 new deaths including 1 each in Begusarai, Nalanda, Saran, and in Muzaffarpur due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 12,234 in the state on February 4, 2022.
The new 486 Covid-19 cases included 85 in Patna, 73 in Mdhepura, 32 in West Champaran, 22 in Rohtas, 19 in Bhojpur, 18 in East Champaran, 18 in Aurangabad, 17 in Bhagalpur, 17 in Saran, 16 in Saharsa, 13 in Muzaffarpur, 13 in Samastipur, 10 in Madhubani, 8 in Araria, 3 in Banka, and 2 in Arwal, according to State Health Department figure. The state tested 1,47,621 samples on February 3, 2022.
Bihar has logged 8,26,575 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic of which 8,11,103 patients have recovered including 645 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.13% on February 4, 2022, from 98.11 % on February 3, 2022.
