Patna : Active cases count dropped to 379.in last 24 hours in Bihar as only 48 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on February 23, 2022. The Active cases count in Bihar was 431 on February 23, 2022, as 53 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 on February 22, 2022. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained static at 12,255 in the state on February 24, 2022.
The new 48 new Covid-19 cases included 13 in Patna, 4 in Purnia, 3 in East Champaran, and 2 each in Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Gopalganj, Katihar, Saharsa, Saran, Sheikhpura, Vaishali, and West Champaran, according to State Health Department figure. The state tested 1,29,559 samples on February 23, 2022.
Bihar has logged 8,29,904 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic of which 8,17,269 patients have recovered including 100 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate improving to 98.48% on February 24 from 98.47% on February 23, 2022.
