Patna : Bihar reported 4 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, up from just 1 case on November 15, 2021. Active cases count increased to 26 in Bihar including 15 in Patna on November 16, 2021, up from 22 cases a day before. The state did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained static at 9,662 on November 16.
Meanwhile, 5 lakh persons were vaccinated against Covid-19 in the state at their doorstep under a special drive on November 16, 2021, till 6.16 pm, according to State Health Department figure.
The state has logged 7,26,161 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,472 patients have recovered with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.66% on November 16, 2021. Bihar has tested 5,34,99,334 samples so far including 1,86,148 samples on November 15, 2021. The 4 new Cocid-19 cases included 2 in Patna, 1 in Muzaffarpur, and 1 from other state.
