Patna : Active cases further dropped to 3,547 in Bihar including 375 in Patna on June 18 as only 347 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on June 17, 2021. The Active cases count in Bihar was 3,803 on June 17, 2021. Bihar reported 9 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,535 in the state on June 18, 2021.
Of the 7,19,051 Covid-19 cases reported till date in Bihar, a total of 7,05,967 patients have been declared cured including 594 in last 24 hours with the recovering rate (RR) improving to 98.17% on June 18 from 98.15% on June 17, 2021. Bihar has tested 3,18,80,647 samples so far including 1,10,608 samples on June 17, 2021.
The 347 new Covid-19 cases included 41 in Patna, 20 in Gopalganj, 19 in Vaishali, 19 in Katihar, 18 in Saharsa, 16 in Rohtas, 15 in Purnia, 14 in Maadhubani, 14 in Saran, 13 in Siwan, 13 in Darbhanga, 12 in Begusarai, 11 in East Champaran, 10 in Muzaffarpur, and 9 in Bhagalpur.
The 9 new deaths due to Covid-19 included 3 in Madhubani, 1 each in Nalanda, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Sitamarhi, Begusarai, and Bhagalpur. With it, the toll climbed to 615 in Muzaffarpur, 466 in Nalanda, 327 in Madhubani, 307 in Bhagalpur, 150 in Samastipur, and 125 in Sitamarhi.
