Patna : Active cases count declined to 246 in Bihar in last 24 hours as only 32 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on March 1, 2022. The Active cases count was 279 in Bihar on March 1, 2022, as only 33 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on February 28, 2022.
The state did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 12,255 on March 2, 2022, according to State Health Department figure.
The 32 new Covid-19 cases included 8 in Patna, 5 in Nawada, 4 in Gaya, 3 in West Champaran, 3 in Bhagalpur, and 2 each in Saharsa, and Sheikhpura. Bihar tested 91,469 samples on March 1, 2022.
The state has logged 8, 30,156 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic of which 8,17,654 patients have recovered including 65 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.49% on March 2, 2022.
