Patna : Active cases count dropped to 41 in Bihar including 12 in Patna on October 1, 2021, as only 3 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 on September 30, down from 6 cases on September 29, 2021. Active cases count was 53 in the state on September 30. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained pegged at 9,681 on October 1, 2021.
Bihar has recorded 7,25,961 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,258 patients have recovered including 15 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining static at 98.66% on October 1. The state has tested 4,63,63,965 samples so far including 1,48,786 samples on September 30, 2021. The three new Covid-19 cases included Patna, Munger, and Supaul.
Meanwhile, State Health Minister Mangal Pandey inaugurated an RTPCR Lab. at Buxar and “Didi Ki Rasoi” at Dumraon Sub-Divisional Hospital on October 1, 2021, in virtual mode.
