Patna : A total of 2,362 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in Bihar iin last 24 hours, up from 1,821 cases on January 24, 2022, taking the count of Active cases in the state to 14,770 on January 25, 2022. The Active cases count was 14,833 in the state on january 24, 2022. Bihar also reported 4 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 12,197 on January 25, 2022.
The 2,362 new Covid-19 cases included 284 in Patna, 253 in Purnia, 206 in Samastipur, 119 in East Champaran, 112 in Muzaffarpur, 101 i n Madhubani, 96 in Vaishali, 89 in West Champaran, 83 in Bhagalpur, 81 in Madhepura, 78 in Saran, 76 in Begusarai, 74 in Gopalganj, 68 in Darbhanga, 57 in Bhojpur, 50 in Sitamarhi, 48 in Banka, 45 in Saharsa, 44 in Munger, 38 in Siwan, 37 in Jamui, 27 in Rohtas, and 26 from other states, according to State Health Department figure. The state tested 1,50,134 samples on January 24, 2022.
Bihar has logged 8,15,705 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,88,737 patients have recovered incljuding 2,420 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 96.69% on January 25, 2022.
