Patna : Active cases count in Bihar further dropped to 2,354 on February 7, 2022, from 2,450 on February 6, 2022, as only 235 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state in last 24 hours. A total of 295 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on February 6.
Bihar reported 3 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours including 1 each in Patna and Bhagalpur taking the toll to 12,239 in the state on February 7, 2022.
The new 235 Covid-19 cases included 48 in Patna, 25 in Madhepura, 24 in Purnia, 12 in West Champaran, 10 in Gopalganj, 10 in Jamui, 9 in Samastipur, 8 in Begusarai, 7 in Gaya, 7 in Siwan,7 in Supaul, 5 in Vaishali, 5 in Bhojpur, 5 in Rohtas, 4 in Bhagalpur, 4 in Darbhanga, 3 in Madhubani, and 3 in Kishanganj, according to State Health Department figure. The state tested 95,004 samples on February 6, 2022.
Bihar has logged 8,27,547 Covid-19 cases so far of which 8,12,953 patients have recovered including 328 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.24 % on February 7, 2022, from 98.22 % on February 6, 2022.
