Patna : Active cases count jumped to 81 in Bihar including 58 in Patna on December 12, 2021, up from 62 cases a day before, as 23 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on December 11, 2021. Only 8 persons had tested positive in the state on December 10, 2021.for Covid-19. The state, however, did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours with the toll standing at 12,090 on December 12, 2021.
Bihar has logged 7,26,319 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,14,147 patients have recovered till date including 4 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) dropping to 98.32% on December 12, 2021. The state has tested 5,79,42,866 samples so far including 2,00,022 samples on December 11, 2021.
The 23 new Covid-19 cases included 13 in Patna, 3 in Sitamarhi, 2 in Muzaffarpur, 2 in Begusarai, and 1 each in Darbhanga and Vaishali, and 1 from outside state, according to State Health Department figure.
