Patna : Active cases jumped to 38 in Bihar including 23 in Patna on November 18, 2021, up from 26 cases on November 17, 2021, as 16 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state in last 24 hours. Bihar had reported only 1 Covid-19 case on November 17. The state also recorded one new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours with the toll increasing to 9,663 on November 18.
Bihar has logged 7,26,178 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,476 patients have recovered including 3 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.66% on November 18. The state has tested 5,38,74,335 samples so far including 1,86,524 samples on November 17, 2021.
The 16 new Covid-19 cases included 6 in Patna, 4 in Buxar, 1 each in Araria, Kishanganj, Gopalganj, and Saran, and 2 from other states, according to State Health Department figure.
