Patna : Active cases count declined to 79 in Bihar including 14 in Patna on September 3, 2021, as only 6 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on September 2, down from 10 a day before. Active cases count in Bihar was 89 on September 2. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained static at 9,654 on September 3.
Bihar has recorded 7,25,734 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,000 patients have been declared cured / discharged including 16 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining pegged at 98.65% on September 3, 202. The state has tested 4,22,60,348 samples so far including 1,67,874 samples on September 2, 2021.
The 6 new Covid-19 cases included 2 in Patna and 1 each in Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Purnia, and Kaimur, according to State Health Department figure.
Meanwhile, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi on September 3, 2021, and presented him the prototype of 5,462-bed under-construction PMCH building and informed him about Covid-19 status and health services in the state.
