Patna : Active cases slightly increased to 785 in Bihar including 103 in Patna on July 14 as 113 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on July 13, 2021, up from 102 on the previous day. Active cases count in Bihar was 782 on July 13, 2021. The state also recorded 2 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,621 on July 14, 2021.
Bihar has so far registered 7,23,570 Covid-19 cases of which 7,13,163 patients have been declared cured including 108 in last 24 hours. The state has tested 3,48,62,415 samples so far including 1,22,819 samples on July 13, 2021, according to State Health Department figure.
The 113 new Covid-19 cases included 14 in Patna, 5 in Muzaffarpur, 8 in Khagaria, 8 in Kishanganj, 7 in Saharsa, 5 in Begusarai, 5 in Rohtas, 4 in Bhagalpur, 4 in Gopalganj, 4 in Purnia, 4 in Saran, 3 in Ararai, 3 in Darbhanga, 3 in Lakhisarai, 3 in Madhepura, 3 in Supaul, 3 in Nalanda, and 3 in Samastipur. The two new deaths due to Covid-19 included 1 each in Patna and Saran. With it, the toll climbed to 2,327 in Patna and 255 in Saran.
