Patna : Active cases count further dropped to 29 in Bihar including 12 in Patna on October 20, 2021, from 41 cases a day before, as only 3 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on October 19, down from 5 on October 18, while 15 patients recovered during last 24 hours. The state did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained static at 9,661 on October 20.
Bihar has recorded 7,26,036 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,345 patients have recovered including 15 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.67% in the state on October 20, 2021. The state has tested 4,85,79,142 samples so far including 1,38,001 samples on October 19, 2021. The 3 new Covid-19 cases included 2 in Sheohar and 1 in Kishanganj, according to State Health Department figure.
