Patna : Active cases count further declined to just 178 in Bihar on August 19, 2021, as only 15 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August 18, 2021. The Active cases count in Bihar was 187 on August 18, 2021. Bihar did not record any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained static at 9,649 in the state on August 19.
The state has recorded 7,25,549 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,712 patients have been declared cured including 32 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.63% on August 19, 2021. Bihar has tested 4,01,06,704 samples so far including 1,32,067 samples on August 18, 2021. The 15 new Covid-19 cases included 3 in Katihar, 2 in Patna, and 2 in Samastipur.
