Patna : Active cases further dropped to 633 in Bihar including 90 in Patna on July 20 as 82 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on July 19, up from 54 on the previous day. Active cases count in Bihar was 679 on July 19, 2021. The state recorded 2 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,632 in the state on July 20.
The state has recorded 7,24,081 Covid-19 cases of which 7,13,815 patients have been declared cured including 126 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.58%. Bihar has tested 3,56,62,350 samples so far including 1,40,695 samples on July 19, 2021.
The 82 new Covid-19 cases included 12 in Patna, 12 in Saharsa, 8 in East Champaran, 5 in Khagaria, 5 in Rohtas, 4 in Arwal, 4 in Jamui, 3in Madhubani, and 3 in Aurangabad.
The two new deaths due to Covid-19 incuded one each in Saharsa and Madhubani. With it, the toll climbed to 335 in Madhubani and 133 in Saharsa.
