Patna : Active cases further dropped to 501 in Bihar including 85 in Patna on July 25, 2021, while 81 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 on July 24, 2021, up from 75 the day before. Active cases count in the state was 529 on July 24. Bihar recorded two new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,639 in the state on July 25.
Bihar has registered 724471 Covid-19 cases so far of which 714330 patients have been declared cured including 107 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.60% on July 25. The state has tested 3,64,68,100 samples so far including 1,62,272 samples on July 24.
The 81 new Covid-19 cases included 7 in Madhepura, 7 in Begusarai, 6 in Patna, 5 in Aurangabad, 5 in Bhagalpur, 4 in Munger, 4 in Sitamarhi, 4 in Vaishali, 4 in Gaya, 3 in Darbhanga, 3 in east Champaran, 3 in Katihar, and 3 in Madhubani.
The two new deaths due to Covid-19 included 1 each in Madhubani and Supaul. With it, the toll climbed to 336 in Madhubani and 128 in Supaul, both in North Bihar.
