Patna : Active cases count dropped to 479 including 78 in Patna on July 28 as 76 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on July 27, 2021, up from 67 the day before. The Active cases count in Bihar was 483 on July 27, 2021. Bihar did not report any death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained pegged at 9,639 in the state on July 28.
the state has reported 7,24,673 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,14,554 patients have been declared cured including 80 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining static at 98.60%. The state has tested 3,68,94,903 samples so far including 1,54,318 samples on July 27, 2021.
The 76 new Covid-19 cases included 11 in Begusarai, 6 in Darbhanga, 5 in Madhubani, 5 in Patna, 5 in Purnia, 5 in Samastipur, 3 in Katihar, 3 in Khagaria, 3 in Rohtas, 3 in Saharsa, 3 in Vaishali, and 3 in West Champaran.
