Patna : Active cases count dropped to 457 in Bihar including 70 in Patna on July 30, 2021, even as 72 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on July 29, up from 46 on July 28. Bihar recorded 1 new neath due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,643 in the state on July 30, 202.
Bihar has so far registered 7,24,791 Covid-19 cases of which 7,14,690 patients have been declared cured including 94 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.61% on July 30. The state has tested 3,71,90,730 samples so far including 1,52,169 samples on July 29, 2021.
The 72 new Covid-19 cases included 11 in Begusarai, 9 in Patna, 6 in Samastipur, 4 in Saharsa, 3 in Siwan, 3 in Madhubani, 3 in Araria, 3 in Bhojpur, 3 in Gaya, and 3 in Madhepura.
The one new death due to Covid was reported from Madhubani. With this, the toll climbed to 337 in Madhubani.
