Bihar logs 61 Covid cases in last 24 hrs, Active cases climb to 596

Patna : The Active cases count in Bihar was 596 on July 22 after 61 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state Julu 21, 2021, down from 88 on the previous day. The Active cases count in the state was 589 on July 21. Bihar did not report any death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remains pegged at 9,635.

Of the 724230 Covid-19 recorded in the state so far, altogether 713998 patients have been declared cured including 54 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being static at 98.59%. Bihar has tested 3,59,77,625 samples till  date including 1,55,148 samples on July 21, 2021. The new 61 Covid-19 cases included 11 in Patna, 6 in Katihar, 5 in Muzaffarpur, 4 in Purnia, 4 in Bhagalpur, 3 in Bhojpur, and 3 in Jamui,
