Patna : Active cases count declined to 356 in Bihar including 44 in Patna on August 6, 2021, even as 55 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August 5, up from 44 on August 4. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 9,646 on August 6.
The state has recorded 7,25,122 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,119 patients have been declared cured including 63 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.62% on August 6. The state has tested 3,82,28,661 samples so far including 1,37,028 samples on August 5.
The 55 new Covid-19 cases included 7 in Patna, 6 in Muzaffarpur, 3 in Kishanganj, 3 in Madhepura, 2 in Madhubani, 2 in Samastipur, 2 in Siwan, 2 in Arwal, 2 in Aurangabad, 2 in Buxar, 2 in Darbhanga, 2 in Gaya, 2 in Katihar, and 2 in Lakhisarai.
