Patna : Active cases dropped to 679 in Bihar including 97 in Patna on July 19 as only 54 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on July 18, 2021, down from 81 on the previous day. Active cases count was 724 in Bihar on July 18. Bihar reported only 1 new death in Siwan due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,630 in the state.
Of the 7,23,999 Covid-19 cases registered so far in Bihar,altogether 7,13,689 patients have been declared cured including 98 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.58% on July 19, 2021. The state has tested 3,55,21,655 samples so far including 1,30,694 samples on July 18, 2021.
The 54 new Covid-19 cases included 6 in Patna, 4 in Begusarai, 4 in Madhubani, 4 in Purnia, 3 in Aurangabad, 3 in Bhagalpur, and 3 in Darbhanga.
