Patna : Active cases count dropped to 77 in Bihar including 55 in Patna on December 21, 2021, from 84 cases on December 20, 2021, as only 5 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in th state on December 20 while 9 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. Bihar, however, reported one death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 12,094 on December 21, 2021.
The state has logged 7,26,379 Covid cases so far of which 7,14,207 patients have recovered including 9 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.32% on December 21, 2021. Bihar has tested 5,93,44,418 samples so far including 1,72,208 samples on December 20, 2021. The 3 new Covid-19 cases included 2 in Siwan and 3 in Patna, according to State Health Department figure.
