Patna : TheActive Cases count increased to 40 in Bihar including 28 in Patna on November 28, 2021, as five more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state, up from 3 cases on November 27, 2021. The Active cases count in the state was 38 on November 27. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained pegged at 9,663 in the state on November 28.
Bihar logged 7,26,217 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,513 patients have recovered including 3 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.66% in the state on November 28. The state has tested 5,56,12,799 samples so far including 1,64,104 samples on November 27, 2021. The 5 new Covid-19 cases included 4 in Patna and 1 in Nalanda, according to State Health Department figure. Meanwhile, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar chaired a meeting of State Health Department on November 28, 2021.
