Patna: Active cases further dropped to 365 in Bihar including 48 in Patna on August 4, 2021, as only 46 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 on August 3, 2021, down from 60 on August 2, 2021. Active cases count in the state was 383 on August 3. Bihar recorded two new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,646 on August 4, 2021.
The state has so far logged 7,25,023 Covid-19 cases of which 7,15,011 patients have been declared cured including 62 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.62%. Bihar has tested 3,79,23,074 samples so far including 1,77,501 samples on August 3, 2021.
The 46 new Covid-19 cases included 4 in Muzaffarpur, 4 in Purnia, 4 in Samastipur, 4 in Vaishali, 3 in Bhagalpur, 3 in Darbhanga, 3 in Munger, 2 in Patna, 2 in Gaya, 2 in Kishanganj, 2 in Saharsa, and 2 in Gopalganj.
The two new deaths due to Covid-19 included 1 each in Saharsa and Darbhanga. With it, the toll climbed to 366 in Darbhanga and 134 in Saharsa.
